I am a committed advocate for student success and equity in higher education, and I am passionate about creating learning environments where all students can thrive and reach their goals.

Dean of English, American River College (2023-Present)
Experienced in academic administration with expertise in course scheduling, enrollment management, faculty assignment, personnel leadership (hiring, supervision, evaluation), budget oversight, resource optimization, and operationalizing institutional equity initiatives.
Professor of English / WAC Program Coordinator, American River College (2016-2023)
Led writing center program strategy, team management, and operations, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional objectives. Tenured professor with success in teaching diverse student populations, developing engaging curricula, and leading other faculty in shared governance and college service.
Assistant Professor of English / Interim Writing Center Director, Southwestern University (2008-2016)
